KAVI-Institute of Clinical Research Hosts Delegation from International Vaccine Institute

Nairobi, Kenya, May 29th, 2023 - The KAVI-Institute of Clinical Research had the honor of hosting a team from the International Vaccine Institute (IVI). The team from IVI paid a courtesy visit to the Institute to establish potential research project collaborations.

The esteemed visitors were warmly received by KAVI's Director, Prof. Walter Jaoko, and Prof. Omu Anzala, distinguished professors in the Department of Medical Microbiology and Immunology. The Chair of the department, Dr. Marianne Mureithi, was also present along with other esteemed members of the department, Dr. Daniel Muema, Dr. Njaanake Kariuki, Dr. Terry Muhomah, and Dr. Charity Muriuki amongst others.

The delegation from IVI, renowned for its groundbreaking work in vaccine development and delivery, had the opportunity to engage in productive and insightful discussions with KAVI-ICR's leadership and research teams.

During the visit, the researchers at KAVI-ICR could present their past achievements, current research pursuits, and prospects.
