Prof. Omu Anzala, a senior researcher (former Director - KAVI - ICR) and a Professor of Virology and Immunology in the Department of Medical Microbiology, College of Health Sciences, University of Nairobi was among the key speakers during a webinar (COVID-19 Vaccination Rollout) organized by the College of Health Sciences, UoN. The webinar attended by more than 450 participants including the university Vice Chancellor and Deputy Vice chancellors was to sensitize members of staff, students and stakeholders on the need to get vaccinated amid fears arising from misinformation on COVID-19 vaccination. The virology professor gave a talk on the origin of SARS-CoV 2, emergence of new pathogens and COVID-19 Vaccine End-Points.
