Join us for a PhD Thesis Defence on Latent Tuberculosis Infection among People Living with HIV in a Kenyan Population: Prevalence, Determinants, and Objective Treatment Monitoring Methods during Isoniazid Use by Dr. Dr. Lilian Njagi.

Dr. Njagi is a PhD Scholar from the Department of Medical Microbiology and Immunology, a fellow of the Consortium for Advanced Research Training in Africa (CARTA), and a Senior Clinical Research Scientist at the KEMRI Center for Respiratory Disease Research. She is interested in TB/HIV co-infection research, specifically finding solutions to monitoring TB treatment to improve outcomes, including assessing the role of immunogenetics, pharmacogenetics, and personalized medicine.
