Moses Musyoki joined the University of Nairobi’s Department of Medical Microbiology in 2015 and has since advanced his academic and professional career, earning a Master of Science degree in Medical Microbiology from the same university.
Through mentorship, he has developed a strong interest in research, with a particular focus on infectious diseases, contributing to efforts to understand emerging infectious disease threats and advance evidence-based prevention, diagnosis, and management approaches.
His commitment to research excellence and professional growth was recently recognized when he emerged as the overall winner in the Poster Presentation category at the 3rd Annual Early-Career Health Researchers’ Symposium (2019), organized by Aga Khan University (AKU) under the theme “Research Culture: Mentoring the Next Generation of Researchers.”
