Early Career Champions Programme One Health Workshop

The University of Nairobi & University of Helsinki Early Career Champions Programme One Health Workshop (Nov 28th Nov - 2nd Dec 2022) kicked off today with a welcome address from The Dean, Faculty of Health Sciences, Prof. Osanjo and Chair of Department of Medical Microbiology & Immunology, Dr. Marianne Mureithi. They later toured the KAVI-Institute of Clinical Research, UNITID and Centre for Epidemiological Modelling & Analysis (CEMA), and were welcomed by Prof. Julius Oyugi (UNITID) and Prof. Thumbi Mwangi (CEMA).


The Early Career Champions Mentoring Programme supports the cultivation of talent and career advancement of early career researchers, focusing on mobility, mentoring and entrepreneurial skills. It is open for doctoral students at the University of Helsinki and the University of Nairobi in all disciplines and faculties, focusing on One Health.
