The University of Nairobi (UoN) will be jointly hosting a conference on Strengthening Research Ethics Capacity and Networks in collaboration with the European and Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership (EDCTP), The National Commission for Science, Technology and Innovation (NACOSTI), and Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH).
This conference will take place on the 24th-26th of May 2022 and the subtheme will be:
- Research ethics review and oversight
- Research involving vulnerable populations
- Research during pandemics/emergencies/epidemics
- Digitization of ethics review process
- Data protection in Research
- Capacity building in research ethics
- Management of administration of RECs
- Contemporary issues in research ethics
