The Chief Technologist of the Department of Medical Microbiology & Immunology Felistas Muthini is assisting the Ministry of Health in the National Granular mapping on soil transmitted Helmithes, Schistosomiasis and Tungiasis across the country.

Facilities & Equipment

State of the art Research, Teaching and Diagnostics Laboratory

The department occupies two floors and includes teaching and research laboratories, clinic rooms, seminar rooms data rooms and administrative offices. The laboratory includes a level-2 tissue culture laboratory. an equipped Bacteriology, Mycology, Parasitology and Molecular Laboratory and collaborators with UNITID and KAVI-Institute of Clinical Research.
