Scholarship for PhD Program in Medical Microbiology - Italian National Institute of Health and the University of Nairobi

The Italian National Institute of Health (ISS) together with the Department of Medical Microbiology and Immunology, Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Nairobi (UoN), are excited to announce a fully-funded, three-year PhD opportunity in Medical Microbiology research. This scholarship is a component of the "Italy-Africa Research Doctorates" initiative, which aims to foster the development of future African scientific leaders and stimulate collaborative research between Italy and Africa.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Applicants must be citizens of an African country.
2. Applicants must meet the enrollment requirements for the PhD program at the University of Nairobi.
3. Applicants must have a background in a Medical Microbiology related field.
4. Applicants must be ready to undertake the PhD research program on a full-time basis.
