Abstract

Objectives: To assess HIV specific responses and reference ranges for immune function in the gastro-intestinal mucosa in a Kenyan cohort compared with a similar patient population in North Americans.  Kenyan researchers will help to develop and refine techniques to measure mucosal responses, thus improving our understanding of the role of intestinal mucosa in HIV control
