Janet is a trained medical Laboratory Scientist, with a vast (17years) experience in hospital diagnostic practice and Quality Assurance. MSc in Medical Microbiology with 5 years of experience in research, with hands-on experience in conducting clinical trials, basic science, and a keen interest in viral Mucosal immunology. A fellow in International infectious diseases for global health at the University of Manitoba, currently a junior research fellow at KAVI-ICR, pursuing a PhD in Immunology. On the side, passionate about mentoring students to become next-generation scientists.
