Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS) acting Dean, Prof. Eveline Wagaiyu and various Chairs of department hosted Prof. Rungano Jonas Zvobgo, the Vice Chancellor of Great Zimbabwe University (GZU) on Thursday 02 June, 2022. Prof. Zvobgo was accompanied by Prof. Jacob Mufunda, Dean School of Medical and Health Sciences at GZU.

The Association of Medical Students University of Nairobi (AMSUN) held their 12th AMSUN Scientific Conference, on the 9th and 10th of June 2022. The theme of the conference is RESEARCH TODAY FOR A HEALTHIER TOMORROW. Dr Marianne Mureithi, Chair, Department of Medical Microbiology and Immunology gave the opening keynote address titled “ Research in the Pandemic Era”, where the students were encouraged to be innovative and answer critical questions that can change the health outcomes of their communities.
