One Health Early Career Champions programme

The Early Career Champions is a mentorship programme which brings together doctoral candidates and mentors from the universities of Helsinki and Nairobi.

As part of the strategic partnership between the University of Helsinki and the University of Nairobi, the One Health Early Career Champions program promotes career advancement and international networking of early career researchers from various disciplinary backgrounds, focusing on One Health.

Professor Pier Piccaluga paid a courtesy visit to Chair of the Department of Medical Microbiology & Immunology Dr. Marianne Mureithi.

Prof. Piccaluga is an Associate Professor of Pathology at the Department of Experimental, Diagnostic and Specialty Medicine, Bologna University School of Medicine—Institute of Hematology and Medical Oncology, and the Biobank of research at the IRCCS S. Orsola-Malpighi Hospital.
