The Collaborative AIDS Vaccine Discovery 2023 CAVD AFRICA REGIONAL MEETING held in Cape Town, South Africa was sponsored by the Gates Foundation and brought together researchers worldwide to discuss ongoing research into the discovery of a vaccine for HIV.
Among the attendees were renowned HIV researchers Prof. Omu Anzala, Dr. Marianne Mureithi, Dr. Terry Muhomah, Dr. Daniel Muema, and Dr. Magdalene Ameka. In addition to these experts, the meeting welcomed an up-and-coming MSc student, Delories Sikuku, whose participation was warmly welcomed.
