New Publication on Retinoblastoma in Kenya: A Collaborative Effort

A groundbreaking publication titled "Toward Advances in Retinoblastoma Genetics in Kenya" has emerged from a collaborative effort with researchers from the University of Toronto and multiple departments at the University of Nairobi including the Department of Medical Microbiology & Immunology. James Kangethe, a fellow of the Consortium for Advanced Research Training in Africa (CARTA) and a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Nairobi in the Department of Medical Microbiology and Immunology, showcased his research at the 2024 International Conference on HIV Treatment, Pathogenesis, and Prevention Research in Resource-Limited Settings (INTEREST). INTEREST 2024 was held in Cotonou, Benin from 14th May to 17th May 2024.
