Prof. Julius Oyugi is elevated to the distinguished rank of Full Professor at the Department of Medical Microbiology and Immunology. Prof. Oyugi, who also serves as the director of the University of Nairobi Institute of Tropical and Infectious Diseases (UNITID), has been instrumental in propelling the institution to new heights in virology and infectious diseases.
